Applying to MIT Sloan's Round 1 deadline on September 29?
Many applicants start with the essays because they seem like the biggest task. In reality, it often helps to begin with your resume and career goals. Once you're clear on the impact you've had, the decisions you've made, and where you're headed next, the rest of the application becomes much easier to connect.
Before you dive into drafting, ask yourself:
1. What are the 3–4 experiences that best define my leadership?
2. What evidence shows the impact I've had?
3. Does every part of my application reinforce the same message?
Taking the time to answer those questions now can save hours of rewriting later.
We're hosting a Live Session on "How to Prepare a Perfect Application for Round 1 in 50 Days," where Jenifer Turtschanow will share a practical framework for planning every stage of your application before the deadline.
