I took the GMAT twice and scored a 660 both times (Q47, V34) and got a 7 on the IR and a 5.5 AWA. In hindsight, I know my GMAT preparation was not great and I'm planning on taking it again in a few months and hopefully scoring at least a 700. I graduated with a 3.7 GPA from a top 50 university. I have 3.5 years of work experience (will be 4.5 when I actually apply to b-school). My goal is to go into consulting (my current work experience is in the CPG industry) and my volunteer experience is so-so (mostly volunteer work with women's organizations)
My top choices are Dartmouth, Northwestern, and the University of Michigan. I also like Carnegie Mellon and Emory. What do you guys think my chances are at these schools? Do you have any ideas of other schools I should target?
