What reasons do you have for Hult? Because from a employment and general ranking assessment, it's no comparison really...

I became very sceptical of Hult. It is not accredited by one of the major three institutions, and the Standing Conference of the Ministers of Education and Cultural Affairs in Germany has not recognized it (yet?).

Babson is listed there with H+ (have a look here:https://anabin.kmk.org/no_cache/filter/institutionen.html, sorry, German only), indicating it is a recognized institution, as are all other major schools I am aware of. And Babson is also accredited by the AACSB.

Babson is a really good program. I don't see how you can compare the two.

I suppose if you look at the FT metrics, you will see why. Likely (I did not look) because Hult can leverage an international presence, whereas Babson cannot.

Alright, but given the 2 programs are good, why should I pick Babson? Considering it is going to be more expensive since it is a 2 year program.

Tks

its a no contest, really. I would choose babson over hult in a blink. Hult's stats are a bit iffy to say the least. The HULT alumni i spoke to regretted joining the program.

Babson on the other hand is a well respected program.

About 2 years vs. 1 year: The summer internship gives you the possibility to explore the job you want to do afterwards, and maybe even secure a job offer. There are also more gaps in 2y programs' schedules for recruiting, field trips and the like. The 1y programs, on the other hand, are great if you just want to check the MBA as fast as possible and are not looking for a bigger career or industry switch (and maybe even return to your old job / company).

I wouldn't give much credence to FT's ranking...
1) You can't really compare 1 year and 2 year programs and do both justice
2) The placement of some schools in refernce with others is simply outrageous. Cases in point:
3) IESE ahead of Sloan and Booth
4) HKUST ahead of Kellogg, Fuqua, Stern and Tuck.
5) Nanyang ahead of McCombs & Goizueta
6) Rice ahead of McCombs

From these forums, I've not had much good to hear about Hult. Whereas Babson has a great rep for entrepreneurship and is also a solid MBA program. I'd say, go with Babson.
