Thus far I have been accepted to UNC Kenan-Flagler's MBA@UNC program, and Penn State's online MBA Program. I work as an Aerospace Engineer at a large corporation that will likely have a lot of internal opportunities for career advancement. I want to move into management in the near future, and into a leadership role down the road. I'm not dead-set on staying with my current company long-term, but it is a distinct possibility at this point.
I fantasize about entrepreneurship, but the desire for financial stability has me putting that on the backburner for now.
My company offers $60k in tuition reimbursement, per-program. This completely covers schools like Penn State, but leaves a bill of $36k for UNC K-F.
What would my career path have to look like for UNC to be the choice? For Penn State or a similar school to be the choice? (Similar being a top-40 full time program with a quality online program around $60k, like Florida, Maryland, Temple, etc.)
I'm leaning heavily towards UNC, but my impression is that if I do stay at this one company, it may not be worth the extra cost.
Thoughts are much appreciated!

Congrats on your acceptances thus far! Have you looked at Kelley Direct from the IU Kelley School of Business (ranked #1 online program by U.S. News 2 years in a row)? I'm currently getting my MBA there, and as of last year I also work for the program.
Our program may enable you to get the best of both worlds. We just announced our MS in Entrepreneurship & Innovation and will be starting classes this Fall. If you're not ready to pursue just entrepreneurship, you can add it onto our MBA and earn a dual-degree with just 4 additional classes.
Our online programs were attracting mostly students in your situation: they want to move up in their current company, but want a reputable degree that will help them advance in the future. Now, about 40% of our students want to switch careers, companies or industries. Our Graduate Career Services has adapted to these new demands by adding additional resources including staff, a career development program for all incoming students and career events specifically for online students. Last week we hosted an online networking event for students interested in consulting that enabled students to meet and make connections with consultants from 6 different firms.
Kelley has the largest business school network in the world (we just passed 100,000 living alumni last year), which means you should be able to find connections wherever you want to go after earning your MBA. With your company's reimbursement and a great GMAT score, you may not have to pay much if anything at all for our MBA - and probably get two degrees for less than the cost of your other options.

(March 18) and a special event just for prospective students in Bloomington, IN the weekend of March 27-28. I highly recommend attending that on-campus event!

Congrats for acceptance.
As you wish to move to management, UNC would be the best choice. Penn state is known for its supply chain and operation. Personally, I attended supply chain classes in the executive program. UNC has a good foundation in management. Do not forget the UNC's network might help you search for another job.
