I'm looking for your thoughts on Foster (Evening MBA) vs Stern (Evening MBA or Accelerated 2 year).
I am not sure what the consensus is in terms of Ranking vs Region and how, if at all, it applies to these part time programs.
About me: Currently work in higher education/public sector and have my BA and MPA (both from the University of Washington). My ultimate goal is to continue working in Seattle (where I currently am) and eventually make the move to the private sector at one of the big companies - Microsoft, Amazon, Starbucks etc. I know this is where I want to live, work, buy a house, and start a family (eventually).
I initially was only applying to Foster, but decided to throw Stern into the mix - I either want to stay local and continue life as is, or go to my dream city and spend some time there (knowing it would just be for 2 years), just to see what it's like and have that experience. But ultimately that is just the wanderlust part of me since my whole life has been spent in WA and plan to essentially spend the rest of it here too.

All things considered, does a degree at either of these places seem equal for me? Stern ranks higher but most of the big tech companies hire locally from Foster at a crazy high pace. I can't even count how many of my friends have gone through the Evening MBA program and are now working at one of these places. I don't know a ton about Stern graduates - do they stay in NYC? Is job placement more regional? I would love to live in NY for a few years during school but not at the expense of a future career in Seattle. What can you tell me about either of these schools?
Thank you!
