Thanks. I tried to negotiate with McCombs for scholarship but had no success. Looks like they don't give out scholarships this late to waitlisted students. I still have an instate-tuition here, so now it comes down to 66k difference in cost between the two schools from a financial standpoint. I am trying to decide if the greater opportunities are worth the cost difference.

My vote is for Texas. Their instate tuition is a steal for a top 20 university. While GT may be less, your loans at Texas are going to be significantly less burdensome than any other top 20 university and still open doors to top consulting firms. You want be in tech? Austin is booming in tech. Bite the bullet for a bit more in loans, knowing that a career in consulting will give you a very reasonable and high ROI.

Take the money and run. Atlanta has a way lower cost of living. But where do you want to end up post college?

Unfortunately. GT is my alma mater though. You will make a great choice either way. Let me know if you have any questions regarding ATL!
