Hey Guys!
I am stuck in a decision making process and was wondering if others could help provide some guidance. I have been admitted to:
1.) SMU full time
2.) TAMU full time
3.) Rice - Professional program and wait listed
I come from a public policy (economics) background, and want to go into consulting or finance post MBA.
TAMU seems to be consistently ranked higher than SMU but for the life of me I can not figure out why. It looks like TAMU recruits go into either tech (I am assuming Austin?) or Energy (Houston). SMU seems like a much better option for finance and consulting.
My question to you guys, is the higher rank at TAMU justified enough to go there over SMU and secondly, compared to both full time programs, is the professional program at Rice still a better option?
Money not being a factor.

Congrats on the admits!!
All the schools are good regional programs and I believe Rice is a pretty decent one. What is the professional program at Rice, is it like a MSC in Management? I would suggest to reach out to as many alumnus as possible of all the schools!! What is your post MBA goal?
