Hi Guys,
I've received admits from the following schools and would love your inputs regarding the same.
Program: Full-Time MBA
My Aim: Career Switch from IT to Finance
Work Exp: 3.2 years
GMAT: 620
I've analyzed the schools and made a list of Pros and Cons but having a tough time in finalizing a choice. Would love to hear your insights.
Calgary:Pros - Cheap Tuition Fees, Good Scholarship Options, Biggest City in Alberta, Cleanest City, Good Campus
Cons - Energy and Oil industries in abundance and thus Finance options might be limited, Weather
Brock:Pros - Amazing Campus, Situated in Ontario
Cons - Class profile may be very young, Situated in a small town and not that famous
John Molson:Pros - Cheap Tuition fees, Very Strong Local community
Cons - Need to know French to survive in Quebec, Not widely recognized outside Quebec
I really want to switch to the Finance field and work on Capital Markets. Don't know if that's possible staying in Calgary or what are the scopes of the Finance field for Non-French people in regions apart from Ontario.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Arijit
