So I am sure this has been discussed enough but I'm curious would I be an idiot to turn down NYU over Gtown ? My biggest concern with NYU is I feel like the alumni network don't look out for anyone but themselves and I have been down that road before where you get out and nobody looks out for each other and then it becomes a pointless resume line item. I def enjoyed the vibe a gtown and I think DC has a ton of govt money that I could potentially tap to raise funding however I think NYU is def more finance focused. Having said that I am finishing up the CFA this june hopefully and I'm really getting the MBA to network and look more well rounded within my own company, idk any insights about either would be great. thanks

*GRE was horrible imo, I think years exp, having my own company, and CFA def helped me compensate for actually walking into the GRE one day and taking it blind.

Hey thank you both are part time doing full time just never made sense for me personally the opportunity cost was too high and I wasn't looking to pivot so much as build my resume for an executive position if that makes any sense which is kinda why I'm leaning towards nyu bc it is clearly ranked better especially in finance but I tend to think gtown is appreciating in value and everyone there didn't seem to hate their lives haha idk I worked in NYC for 6 years and grew up in DC so I understand the personality differences as well ...
