Hi yon8293

Congrats for those programs  I'm happy to help but I need to know firstly what undergrad degree you have.

Then I can feed you back with my analysis.

Hi Mo2men,

I am currently attending The University of Georgia and I am graduating this year with a degree in Psychology. I want to switch tracks and head into data/analytics or management consulting. Thank you for your help

Hi yon8293

I will give some analysis but you need to search for what it suits you.

Data analysis masters are tend to be among tow things applied analytic or building systems (tend more to be for programmers).

Wake forest is for applied management with some programming language. Here it will give exposure in every aspect in business, which I personally prefer as complement to my experience (again this is me). The university is known. It is private university from the 19th century. The job report is very powerful with many corps recruiting from there.

William and Mary is the opposite as it targets more into systems and programming and algorithms. I do not see any business application. Here it is up to you. Maybe you like this branch. It is good university and job report is promising too.

Although John Hopkins is the most reputable among them, I could not categorize its program at all. Honestly, I did not like it and the job report say 82% in 2017, making the lowest among the other schools. So, I personally would not recommend. As you said the cost of living is too high in DC.

I hope I helped you. My advice is to spend some time into each program to see what suits you.

Good luck

All programs have a 3 year OPT. I don't have any full-time work experience. Should I consider Johns Hopkins although it doesn't have a well-established business school? Wake Forest's program seems the most together in terms of recruiting and career services. These are all young programs so it's hard to tell. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

quick question, what is your GMAT score?

Hi Mo2men,
Would you recommend the Masters in Business Analytics program at wake forest or the Masters in quantitative management:BA program at Duke? I am unsure as to school to pick. Any thoughts would be much appreciated.
Thank you
