Once you hit some of the lower ranked schools on-campus recruiting dries up. It is still a life-changing experience. Don’t get me wrong. You will be challenged and you will be stronger after you are done. You will get the value.

I would perhaps consider them equally ranked then. I have heard about Rutgers and it seems to have an alum base and has its sphere of influence. I would chat with some of the current students and alums and see about their mood. See how many have an internship or a job offer. You can check in with adcom for help with connections. If you are not impressed, I would probably decide between these two.

Since it is a full ride at Buffalo you may as well take that option and save money for recruiting trips and harassing ;-)

PS. Have you considered an EMBA or a PTMBA? May be an option for someone with your level of experience though it is not as helpful with career changes.

Yeah but switching from Digital Marketing to Brand Management is considered a career change even though it's both technically Marketing. Otherwise, I could apply for those kinds of jobs as/is (something I tried a year ago and got nowhere). I really don't see a lot of LT value in Digital as I'm specialized in 1 area and that's the only area I can sell to employers. I'm much better at strategy than execution, so I think I'm a lot stronger at more management-level roles than my current area. Plus Brand is what I wanted to do post undergrad.

Makes sense! I am with you. The full time experience is better overall. For a career change an internship will be very important.
