I am an international applicant (Indian). As of now, I have received admits from UCLA Anderson with $50k scholarship and Kelley with $60k scholarship. My post-MBA goal is to go into Strategy Consulting. Which school should I choose? Choosing Kelley would mean lesser financial burden (tuition and living expenses are less, plus more scholarship) than UCLA. However, UCLA is a better brand, plus the benefits of the location. How much of a difference would it make 10 years down the line if I choose Kelley over UCLA or vice versa? Any thoughts are welcome. Thanks!
Go to
UCLA.
Significantly better with moderately higher cost. MBB won't be easy at UCLA, but you will have significantly higher chances of landing a good strategy consulting job out of UCLA.
If you look at US News Ranking, its only a difference of 5 ranks, but the "
overall score" difference is significant and places UCLA clearly a tier above. I feel "peer group" quality will also be higher.
