Hi all I am deciding between SMU with a scholarship in the 50k-100k range in scholarship versus no money at Rice and was wondering what other users of this site would pick? Based on convenience to me as I am located in Houston already as well as my perception of school branding I would lean toward Rice. However, the value of SMU seems like a lot to justify passing up. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

For your goals, I'd also choose Rice over Cox, I think you will have an easier time reaching your goals.

I hope to be in your position soon.

Do a quick LinkedIn search for IB in Houston and you will find mostly Rice and McCombs, very few SMU MBA grads.
