Welcome to GMAT Club bigred11!

You are on you young side of things. 2 Years is usually the minimum. With Economy this strong, you can afford to wait and figure out what you want to do. It's not like you will get laid off or something.

So, it comes down to your resume and experience. Think about recruiters - will they see your resume and see a stronger one compared to someone who has 6 years of work experience potentially who is applying for the same role from McCombs FT program? would you be able to outdo them in competing for the job?

FT is a more transformation experience since PT is more of a on-the-job training and on-the-job recruiting. You are not expected to recruit, do treks, or network as a part of the MBA. FT program does entail that but again, I feel you would benefit from beefing up your resume somewhat more to make yourself more competitive, and make sure you have a brandname on your resume (even if it is a less interesting role or less pay). Working for the likes of PayPal, Ebay, Microsoft, Amazon, FB, Google, etc is a huge boost to your recruitability for an internship and for the final offer.
