Profile #7 - Fortuna Admissions
Demography – Chinese Female Consultant – 24-year-old applicant
Education – Not a well-known college in U.S., studied economics & applied mathematics 3.63
GMAT – 770 (Q51 V 44 IR 8)
Work Experience - Worked at a leading global consulting firm in a finance related area. In addition to her role, she volunteered to take on additional responsibilities with another team in Europe which has a strong international focus. Strong mix of projects helped her build two very different skill sets. She did a significant amount of research on each business school, reaching out to alums and students, school visits and attending information sessions offered in her city of residence.
Extra-Curricular – Selected for competitive volunteer position at a major museum. Incorporated new technology into work as well as took advantage of sharing her appreciation and love of visual arts with people from around the world. To help empower women she joined and became a board member with a local women’s organization that promotes women in technology.
Post MBA Goals – Short term – Management Consulting. Long term – lead an international business in a new market, drive Chinese companies to global success
