Hello everyone!
Finally this time has come : I have to decide about which of the fancy looking b-school is right for me and I am asking some advice here!
This forum have been really useful for me in the last year since I used it to pursue my goals from preparing the cv to taking the GMAT.
I did ok on the online Gmat scoring 660 (47Q and 30V), really underperforming on the Verbal part but it went all fine.
In the end I am admitted to both ESCP and Bocconi with the (as they say) "highly selective" double degree program.
So I have this dilemma if accept the ESCP or go with the DD program.
As far I know they are both good schools with the following perks:
ESCP:
1. 5 location to freely choose where you want to study in Europe (Paris, London, Madrid, Turin, and Warsaw)
2. Really Good brand name in France
3. Less time demanding university (courses are not the hardest or time consuming thing)
4. Good carrier service in France
5. Scholarship for the 1st year of tuition fee granted.
DD Bocconi ESSEC:
1. Study in 4 Campus (Mandatory Milan,Singapore,Mumbai,Paris)
2. More Asian market oriented track
3. Really good brand name in France and Italy (since Double degree)
4. Good career service in France and Italy
5. More demanding courses (As far as some Bocconi student told me)
6. Scholarship not yeat assigned.
7. Prestigious DD?? Not sure since not a lot of information available online
Something about myself:
I have graduated from a non-prestigious University in Italy in Bachelor of Economics with 106/110, I did an exchange in Paris in the last year and have some years of work experience in my family company.
I speak fluently Italian, English, Chinese and French.
I really liked Paris and would like start there but since I am chinese, I am really curious about Asian markets also.
Speaking about career I am really interested in the Consulting field but my ultimate goal is to be an entrepreneur when the time will come.
So after all this I am asking if you can give me some advice about this choice and if you have some experience or insight about the programs and the schools.
Thanks in advance!
Giovanni
