Thank you for the point of view on the job search. It is really welcoming to hear that I might end up having an edge.

When it comes to applying for other colleges, I was late in the game by when I decided I wanted to do masters this fall and most deadlines for international students had passed which left me with a very few STEM program options. I also got into Univ of Illinios - Urbana Champaign (UIUC) as well but I guess they don't provide merit scholarships which made the course almost 70k tuition which was a bit overwhelming, so had to opt out of it and was left with Northeastern & Babson.

Totally makes sense. As someone who also applied late in the game during my days, my options were limited and constrained by exactly the same parameters. The good thing is you won't be limited per se by your MS Finance program and 5 years later nobody will be asking you where you got your degree but rather will judge you based on your track record and if you are willing to work hard, that's what matters.

One aspect to note is what kind of on campus recruiting happens - would you be potentially exposed only to started positions for those fresh out of school with no work experience? That often is a concern for more experienced applicants who may not fit well into the traditional on campus recruiting...

Got it.. I should probably explore with both the career departments/ placement cells to understand the career level at which the campus placements would be centred around... do you have any idea about it with respect to these colleges.

Also, on a generic note would having a summer internship offer any advantage in the job search post graduation.

Hi,
I'm don't know enough about Northeastern to comment about it but I can speak from personal experience that Babson is AMAZING!.
The professors are great. Especially if you are from a family business, there are many clubs and peer forums that help you find your path.
