Hi All,
I have been admitted to Oxford and Cambridge MBA. And am having a difficult time decide.
The difference in cost is about GBP 12k (USD ~16k) between the two programs; Cambridge is cheaper. This includes bursary and cost of MBAs.
I come from a mechanical engineering background and want to transition into management consulting post-MBA. I am looking to work in Middle East / Asia.
Pros and cons for each school be much appreciated. With regards to brand name, I believe they are equal in UK/Europe however, Oxford has a better image globally. Would Oxford's greater brand recognition be any helpful?
Due to greater size of class at Oxford, the alumni network is larger. How beneficial is a larger alumni network when it comes to job seeking etc?
Also, I have heard that the careers teams at Cambridge is very supportive when it comes to job seeking, not sure about Oxford.
Also, I have read that the Oxford MBA building is not integrated with the rest of Oxford University. Again, not very certain how much of it is true.
Thanks
