My reasons for not taking up NUS were more personal, as follows:
- I was not very sure of doing an MBA in the first place
- Around the same time, I got an exciting new job opportunity in the sector and geography I’m interested in. I wanted to get some entrepreneurial experience to widen my thinking before I go for an MBA
- NUS has a small batch size leading to small alumni base in India (which is where I would like to live in the medium to long term). I do have 2 strong brands on my resume, which could already help me in getting opportunities in India
- There were doubts about the quality of student intake (the peer admits from India all seemed to be of similar background)
- Singapore’s job market is tough to get into

Hello! out of 3, I've decided to pursue NUS and paid the deposit. I'm also applying for round 3 and will compare between round 3 and NUS later.

Thank you for your participation!
