Hi All,
I have been fortunate enough to receive three admits in round 2 this year.
A little about me - I am an analytics professional from India with 5.5 years of work-ex and plan to pivot to strategy consulting post-MBA with product management as a backup plan (as of now). I'm willing to explore other options as well while in B-school.
Booth is my dream school but it did not offer me any scholarship. Both Ross and Darden have offered me full scholarships, which has put me in a predicament. I understand that Booth would provide more access to my goals, but Ross and Darden will also give me similar opportunities. I have no strong preference for teaching methods (case vs lecture vs mixed) or curriculum (all three schools have great curricula). I also felt the community is stronger in the other two schools (especially Ross) than in Booth, but again not sure whether I'll be able to adjust in a college town (having lived mostly in cities). Finally, I plan to come back to India 7/8 years down the line, and Booth is much more well-known worldwide and in India.
While I'm not afraid of the loan amount, it isn't easy to walk away from two full scholarships, especially as an international student. While I'm trying to negotiate a scholarship from Booth, I would appreciate povs from both sides.
