Awesome Job! Congratulations.
I have to preface this by saying that I am not an expert in EU schools but HEC seems to be the #3 school after INSEAD and LBS. It is definitely up there and I would say would be a stronger play across the board than IESE except the weather and laid back culture of Barcelona. Both of these locations will require local language skills by the way, so that may also play into your decision. The bottom line and reality is that it will be VERY hard to find a job in BCN or Paris without language skills. Not impossible but you will limit yourself if you don't know the language. It may seem crazy, stupid, or surprising but having a team-member without language skills will be a liability. Imagine McKinsey looking for a consultant for their Madrid office
https://www.mckinsey.com/es/overview and now they have someone who does not speak Spanish. They can't really use you for a local project since you will have a language barrier, so this means you can only recruit in the office that does not have local language requirements - that's Amsterdam or London. And everyone recruits for those two offices for this reason... I am not saying by the way that Said or Judge would be a better option. You would still recruit for the London and Amsterdam offices and it is not that big of a deal to be in the UK to recruit, esp during these strange post-pandemic days. The only play and difference I can see if Said gave you a great scholarship and their visa was more favorable towards their students (not the case based on what I understand is happening right now).
Do you have consulting background? What do you think will help you land a consulting job?
At the same time, finances matter and HEC and IESE are likely not far apart. IESE is likely School #4 in Europe while HEC is #3 so if there is no Scholarship and are considering some of the tech opportunities in Barcelona.
