Awesome! So interesting that you ended up in the exact same boat though I guess you have different goals and priorities.

I would highly recommend also speaking with a few of the current students. It should be a lot easier, reaching them now that you have admits, and now that you clearly have passed that hurdle. Still keep in mind that they will be extremely busy recruiting and trying to save their butts from unemployment, so you should be extremely concise and short in your requests and very specific in your questions. I would aim to spend about 15 minutes of their time.

The questions I would ask, would be in regards to placements and on campus recruiting as was a opportunities to recruit. The 30% placement for technology may be all of the French people getting placed in France and they require French knowledge. Sometimes statistics are tricky and don’t show the full picture so speaking to someone from your background, and your country will give you a better sense of what’s going on. Keep in mind that not a single current student will bash and complain about their business school. No matter how bad it is and none of them will admit that they have nothing. Everyone will say they have a couple leads they’re chasing but that doesn’t really mean anything until they actually like in a job or internship , so I would approach your questions from the standpoint of what would you do differently or what would you recommend that I do or ask neutral questions or let them talk a bit. I would also say that if there are problems, they will send you signals. It may not be as explicit as our career services completely suck, but it may be more of. Yeah I wish we had more on campus recruiting events. You should watch those signals very carefully and ask follow up questions. They will be more likely to open up and follow up questions than upfront.
