Stuck in two minds over which of these to attend. Pretty clear I target working in U.S in the long term. However not too sure of the tech opportunities at McDonough, whereas ISB is a safe bet as my target is to transition into Product Mangement. Also Mcdonough not being as strong a name in U.S as compared to ISB in India is a reason which keeps playing at the back of mind. Would love your inputs.
reetvik7 congrats on the admits
Attending McDonough can provide you with a networking advantage and facilitate relationship-building with U.S. companies if your ultimate goal is to work in the United States.
ISB has a strong reputation in India for its positioning in product and tech, but it may not be the most practical choice if you do not plan to work in India. Moreover, if you already have a sound technical background, you do not necessarily require a PGP to transition into product management in India. In such a scenario, it might be more logical to invest that money in an MBA program that aligns with your goals of transitioning to a new geography.
Additionally, your personal preferences and priorities are also crucial factors to consider. McDonough has a tighter-knit community, while ISB has a larger student body.
Best wishes
