Wow. Pretty amazing getting full rides at both!
I believe HEC would have a bigger and more selective body. Bigger class and more competitive. Most people tend to try to recruit in London anyway just like Cambridge and LBS and INSEAD.
I’ve heard the main positive side of the Cambridge program is the college structure that they have people living in and the community of it but that’s only some thing you get for one year and I’m not sure you should prioritize some thing so immediate and treating it off for your overall career trajectory 🤷♂️
One other item to address on your initial post, if you were planning to leverage in that work such as networking to buy, the strength of the network will be much much weaker three or five years after graduation so if you end up working in London and then five years later or three years later you want to move to Dubai, you’re probably going to leverage you latest professional net work first and only if that’s exhausted you’re going to go back to people who have graduated years ago and say hello to them and sometimes they may say hello back. What I’m saying is that after you get your first job the importance of schools net work goes down and as you continue to progress through your career, you’ll be leveraging other networks rather than your school’s. Seth may not be a huge decision factor either and I usually recommend focusing on the immediate goal which would be London.
PS. For the HEC, it’s a two year program with an internship and Cambridge would be 12 months? Does it have an internship? I am not super familiar with the Judge program structure
Do you have a preference for an internship?
