Hello GMAT-Club community,
I was offered an MBA seat at Foster ($ ~50%) and McCombs (no $ at all). I am beyond thrilled and so freakin’ happy, yet do not really know which one is the right call.
About myself: I am an international who strives to grow in the ESG topic. What exactly, is not figured out at this point. Could be anything from consulting, corporate (operative/strategy), or NGO.
Money is a factor here, but I feel like I should not base my decision entirely on this single factor.
I am truly grateful for each piece of advice or thought.

ESG and NGO are very very thin slivers with most schools placing 1-2%
The good news is that Foster is up there placing 3 people per year.... this is a really really really shallow recruiting opportunity.

McCombs placed 0% into this category in 2022 (this is 2022 data; working on 2023)
You would be recruiting probably exclusively on your own and you would be getting paid 30% less than your classmates into Tech and 50% less than classmates pursuing consulting, so I would take Foster for both those reasons.

Thank you so much for the fast and detailed response – outstanding! Just so I can consider all potential pathways: if it were without the focus on a specific industry, which school do you see in front (considering the 55k scholarship though.
You know, I already did finance, project management and consulting (current) in the past and try to find the right place for me. I kinda like all three and hope for something in between.
