Hi everyone,
I received an offer from Rotman and Manchester (both with a 20% scholarship) and found it difficult to decide which school I should go to.
A bit about my background - I have over 5 years of work experience in marketing/e-commerce within the FMCG industry. Post-MBA, I would like to pursue a role in a similar field, either within the FMCG or tech industry. I’m not aiming for a Canadian PR and would like to return to Thailand right after graduation or after 2-3 years of work experience.
Currently, Rotman’s total expenses will cost more than Manchester by at least CAD $50,000, which is quite concerning for me, especially if I cannot secure a competitive job upon graduation.
I would like to know if a Rotman MBA is worth the extra $50,000.

Rotman is the best in Canada. Manchester is not even top 5 in the UK. It would be easier to get a job from the best in my opinion.

Hi. Congrats on your admits!
If you are not going to be looking for a job locally, and potentially have a job lined up, the program strength and name don’t have as much play and it is about the experience and learning.
CPG also tends to be less lucrative as a post mba job so MBS looks attractive…. Nice location. But there is a question about what you are planning to do for job hunting.
Why did you choose these 2 programs?
