I was accepted to both of these programs with equal almost full scholarship. I am looking to transition from the healthcare field into healthcare consulting. Any advice?

Both Kenan-Flagler and Mendoza offer strong business programs, but for healthcare consulting, Kenan-Flagler may have a slight edge due to its broader consulting network and stronger ties with firms in the Southeast. The school’s connections with top consulting firms and proximity to Research Triangle Park (a major healthcare and biotech hub) could be advantageous for networking and job placement. Mendoza, with its strong alumni base and emphasis on ethics, could still be a solid choice if you prefer a smaller, more close-knit program. Consider reaching out to alumni from both schools to assess placement rates and consulting opportunities.

Should be an easy call. KF is the better school and being in the research triangle, has great access to Healthcare firms (Lilly, ZS, LEK, Amgen all recruit iirc)
