I'm having a really difficult time deciding which school I should go to. I got accepted to Booth with half tuition (am negotiating) and Wharton, and I want to make a pivot to MBB consulting (have 3 years WE in tech)
Pros for Booth:
-decent merit scholarship (I don't have that much savings, will have to take loans)
-I like both the cities of Chicago and Philly but am leaning slightly more to Booth since I'm a bit more familiar and like the city a bit more
-smaller class size
Pros for Wharton:
-name brand
-I like that there is more structure to the classes and the cohort system (academically and socially I think this will benefit me)
-Philly cold > Chicago cold
I'm still trying to get a feel for the school/campus vibe and what people are like but won't be able to experience the admit weekends.
Any thoughts? TBH I feel very stressed about this.

Booth has a weakness that has been turned into a strength - the campus is a bit out of downtown but all the students live in a small section of the downtown and commuted by train, about 20 or 25 minutes, basically aqua building and around. This makes it very easy to do projects and meet your classmates because a good portion of your class will just live in the same two or three buildings.
I feel like this adds a bit more to the booth value.

By the way, congratulations on your admits!
I would also recommend reaching out to the consulting club and mentioning that you are an admitted student and want to chat with them. They should be very open although it is a bit of a stressful time right now with the consulting recruiting round 2 next week.
But I would check in with the consultant Club and see how the support is and how the sessions are structured and basically what support you can count on because this is where you’re recruiting help will come. You won’t learn consulting cases in classes...
This will also be helpful as it will allow you to network with future consulting recruits and they can be somewhat of a network for you later if you need help or advice down the road.
I’m not in your shoes but personally I would also lean more towards booth taken into consideration scholarship in the city, Chicago is probably my favorite among large US cities, With a meaningful but absolutely justifiable brands trade-off.
