I am evaluating 2 offers:
Tuck ($84k)
Ross ($140k) (an additional $15k incase I join Tauber institute of Global Operations)
26M international here, currently working as a software engineer in Big Tech, building Supply chain software for Enterprises and Manufacturers. Post-MBA goal is primarily consulting, preferably MBB. Not set on any particular long-term goal, but thinking of ending up in Tech strategy. I want to get into consulting mainly for this reason. I am hoping to experience different industries and find something that I enjoy. I don't have any location preference.
Also, in the case of Ross, I am not sure if Tauber is the right fit for me. I am neutral about working in SCM and Operations as of now. Not actively looking to work in it, but I don't think I will hate it either.
I am curious to hear more about what kind of roles Tauber students secure. Or anything other information that may help me arrive at a decision.
Tuck seems to have an edge in terms of consulting placement, particularly MBB. Ross seems to have better options in Tech, in case I want to keep that door open. In terms of personal fit, Tuck wins for me. But it’s almost $60k more expensive

. Would love to hear more about consulting recruitment in recent years at both these schools, particularly for internationals.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
