Cornell Johnson Applicants: You Still Have Time to Make R1 Happen
If Cornell Johnson is on your MBA list, there’s still time to work toward Round 1.
Cornell’s R1 deadline is September 17, 2026, giving you more time than many other top MBA programs.
So, if you’ve been thinking, “I’m already too late for R1,” Cornell could still be a very realistic option.
And if you’re already working on applications for other schools, you may not have to start completely from scratch. Your resume, career goals, leadership stories, and overall application strategy can often help you build a strong base for another application.
The important part is figuring out whether you have enough time and which schools make sense to add.
In our upcoming live coffee session, we’ll discuss:
- Which top MBA programs still have later R1 deadlines
- How to decide if you have enough time to apply
- Which parts of your existing application can help with another school
- How to add more schools without rushing the process
- When it makes sense to apply in R1 versus waiting for R2
If Cornell is one of the schools you’re considering, this could be a good chance to take a step back and see how you can make the most of the time you still have.
