Need help to make a decision

Hello Everyone,

I am new to this supper helpful forum and this is my first post here.

I am writing to seek an advice from experts in order to make a decision.

I hold admits from following B-schools:

a) Schulich School of Business, York University, Canada (full time MBA program), No Scholarship

b) Katz Graduate School of Business (University of Pittsburg), US (full time MBA with Business Analytics, STEM program), Merit based scholarship of 44k USD

Profile Summary:

Male, Indian, Age: 36, GMAT Score: 570 (Q: 44, V: 24, AWA: 5, IR: 3)
Undergrad Degree: BBA from an Indian University, GPA: 3.54 (WES Evaluated), IELTS: 7.5
Work Ex: 14 years of work experience. Initial 7 years in HR function with a Fintech Startup and rest 7 years with 2 entrepreneurial ventures (manufacturing businesses) built from scratch. The recent ongoing business venture is established in US, catering to North American market in the floor covering space.

My post MBA goal is to join back the corporate world at a decent organization in a Human Capital Consulting, General Management, or a role in a new job function.

Looking expert opinions out here to choose the program I should go with, considering post MBA job opportunities, ROI, and possible immigration avenues.

congratulations for your admit.. both schools are good , its a tough choice you should go with one which offers growth in career better IMO US degree would be better..

VikiKapoor hope this finds you well I would pick Canada and Schulich over the other options just because the school has better reputation in the country's rankings and also in the current economy, Canada might be more conducive if you want to stay back and work, than the US. In the mid-term, its never too difficult to make a professional move from Canada to the US. Hello  VikiKapoor ,

Schulich in Canada has better repute in comparison to Katz in the US, and, we would, therefore, prefer it. That said, US has a bigger and better job market; though, it is easier to settle down in Canada.

Having said the above, it is tough to really compare schools in two different geographies; so, your decision should ultimately depend on the geography you prefer and see yourself settling down in (provided cost is not a decision making factor).
