Hi, I am looking to apply at ISB in R3 deadline. Below is my profile.
10th - 93.4%
12th - 89.69%
Graduation - 8.63 CGPA
Chartered Accountant
CFA Charterholder
GRE - 323
2+ years of Work Experience
Currently working in a Big4 as an Investment Banking Associate

Hi,
Your acads and grades are good. A stronger GRE score would definitely be recommended, something like a 326-328 or higher would be good. To decide whether you want to apply in R3 or next year R1 - decide on the basis of whether you can enhance your GRE score during the next few months, if yes, wait till R1 and apply with a higher score. In case you think this is the best shot, then go ahead. Focus on putting up a strong application anyways.
Also take a call from the perspective of how you see your career progressing from now till August 2025, if there are more impactful projects coming your way, it may be worth the while to put up your application in R1 2025.
All in all, don't rush, give it a deep thought and compare your application strength now vs August 2025 to decide.
