Graduation: IIT Gandhinagar (8.3)
GMAT FE (1): 695
EC: Inter IIT Badminton, Inter IIT cultural, 2-3 gold medals for college in both badminton and band competition.
Is my GMAT enough or should I retake?
Aiming for ISB(mostly)/T-20 MBA Programs

There isn't enough information to provide a proper assessment on your profile/ Having said that 695 should be fine for most of the T-20 schools and ISB but other parts of your application are equally important as well.

- Your 695 GMAT FE is already more than sufficient for ISB and strong enough for T20 US MBA programs. For perspective, HBS currently reports a 685 median GMAT, with the middle 80% ranging from 645 to 735. We would not retake unless your recent mocks are consistently around 715+ and another attempt requires very little incremental effort.
- Academically, you are in a very strong position: 94.8%/93.2%, IIT Gandhinagar and an 8.3 CGPA leave little for the GMAT to compensate for. Inter-IIT badminton and cultural participation, along with competitive achievements in sports and music, also make the profile more rounded than the typical purely academic IIT applicant.
- The missing variable is work experience, and that will matter far more than moving from 695 to 705/715. For ISB's regular PGP, applicants currently need at least 24 months of full-time experience by March 31. If you have not yet accumulated that, ISB's PGP YL is the relevant early-career route. For US T20 programs, professional progression, leadership, impact and post-MBA goals will now drive the evaluation much more than additional GMAT points.
- So our recommendation is keep the 695 and move on. A retake only makes strategic sense if 715+ is genuinely within easy reach and you are targeting the very most selective US programs. Otherwise, the marginal admissions value is small compared with strengthening your work impact, recommendations and goals. Share your role, company, years of experience and post-MBA target if you want a more precise ISB/T20 assessment.
