If it seems too good to be true, then probably it's really too good to be true. The field of business is much better than many other areas, but people make it seem too easy sometimes.
And this can be very specific to a research track or interest. For example, in marketing I see those in Consumer Behavior struggling harder than those in Quantitative Marketing. But things are getting harder for those in Quant too, especially for some topics that are saturated. Some topics, like text mining, are drawing much more attention than others.
Depending on your field, you can find some information available. In marketing we have the Who Went Where survey. But that still needs to be taken with a grain of salt (certainly there is a non-response bias, for example).
And we still have no idea about the long-term impact of the pandemic. I've seen the case of a university cancelling a job offer it had extended.
