Hi,
I am on Indian Engineeer applicant targeting INSEAD (Jan 2025 intake), HEC and some of the US top 20 schools (Kellogg, UNC Kenan Flagler).
Profile - Strong academics
UG from NIT Trichy with 8.6 CGPA
GMAT Focus - 675 (V-84 Q -88 DI- 78) (96 percentile - 730 equivalent in old GMAT)
4.5 years work ex from a US based Fortune 500 Financial Service company.
Extracurriculars - Sports, Captain of university Volleyball team
Please post your opinions
1. How good are my chances of converting HEC and INSEAD?
2. I am planning to apply to HEC for Sep 2024 intake in Jan deadline - Given they have rolling deadlines, will applying in Jan reduce my chances since 5 rounds had already passed? I don't have the option of applying for HEC for Jan intake.
Edits:
My current role is as a Senior Business analyst with 4.5 years experience - I act as an analytical consultant for US based brands like IKEA and American Express. The role is both technical (involves coding and analyitcs) and business (presentations, advising on strategy with data). I have been with a single company and recieved 2 promotions but my role has evolved as in taking ownership of projects and close collaboration with product, finance, Marketing teams.
My POST MBA goal is to move into consulting in the short and long term. It aligns well with my interests and current career curve.
