Hey everybody.
I'm a newbie in this section, so I haven't created a profile for a review.
But, I would like to ask you all to review my "description" below for feedback and evaluate my chances.
I am getting prepared to apply to the Master of Science DS/AI for Business at HEC Paris.
I graduated from the National Polytechnic University of Armenia (2016-2020).
Bachelor's degree in Information Security.
GPA: 93.47/100
At the same time, I've been visiting AI/ML lectures in another department voluntarily.
Completed the "Advanced AI and ML" course at Armenian Code Academy (5 months).
The lecturers and tutors have been experienced employees and professors from the following companies:
- Krisp: the company known for research and products in AI-based noise-cancellation, etc.
- YerevaNN: machine learning research centre. Their works have been used by researchers from such companies as Meta.
- Google: the LLM section.
We've covered many aspects, including the mathematical core of AI/ML, practical tasks about LLM, Recommendation Systems, and Computer Vision.
Work experience:
Data Engineer/Data Preprocessing Specialist at Align Technology (3 years at the moment of the admission results):
My work has covered the entire data-related pipeline, including data preparation, model performance analysis, and data-related workflows optimisation using different ML backends to accelerate the process.
IELTS: 7.5 (CEFR C1)
GMAT: Will pass the first official exam in a week, but my estimations are about 645+.
Besides all of that, I am also receiving a reference from my previous manager, who can share the most valid feedback about me, and from 2 of my lecturers: the one from the university and the other one from the courses (the latter currently works at Saint Louis University as an Assistant Professor)
Overall, I would like to understand the GMAT score that would not be a weakness for me.
And the overall chances.
