What is the least integer N such that when divided by 25 or 7 it leaves remainder 1?
a) 76 b) 101 c) 126 d) 151 e) 176
The OA is E, but I disagree.
I don't think the logic is correct in this question. I interpreted the question as "If N/25 leaves a remainder of 1" OR "If N/7 leaves a remainder of 1". An "OR" operator indicates that only one condition has to pass, therefore the answer should be A.
76 / 25 = 3 with a remainder of 1 76 is the smallest digit available.
