Hi,
I just gave my GMAT and I clocked just 670 (Q50 and V30).
I have 7 years of work experience - 2.5 years in IT and 4.5 years in Banking. I have 4.5 years of work experience in State Bank of India (the largest bank in the country and one of the top50 banks in the world). I am working as a Branch Manager for the last 2.5 years and my other 2 years in the bank have been under training and commercial credit.
I worked in Accenture as a Software Engineer for 2.5 years.
I took a break of 14 months after I left Accenture and before I joined State Bank of India
I have got 5 awards at these 2 workplaces over the 7 year period.
My acads are damn average:
83.5 in Engineering
72.4 in 12th (10+2)
86.5 in 10th Grade
I still regularly play badminton and watch Football. I free-lance for local kids who are weak at math by taking tuitions for them every morning.
I desperately want to get to Yale or UCLA this year and looking for an MBA in Finance.
Kindly let me know where do I stand at clearing these universities and what do I need to do.
Note: I am almost ready with essays but I am not sure whether I can convince Ad-coms with a sub-par GMAT and acads. I am 29 years old and I can't wait further to do an MBA
