I've been focussing heavily on geometry study for the past couple of days and was looking for some extra practice questions. I came across this set:

Am I right in thinking that, with the exceptions of questions 1, 3 and 4, none would likely ever been posed on the GMAT? Question 2 requires you to use sine!!

Hi Phocion88,

You will not need to know ANY Trigonometry to answer any questions on the Official GMAT. If you're looking at practice materials that involve that type of math, then those materials are not realistic. There are so many well-established GMAT resources that I'm curious which you've used already?

Definitely no trigonometry on GMAT.

Hi Phocion88,

I just went back through some of your prior posts. With a Q36, you likely have a few areas in the Quant section that can use some improvement, but Geometry is NOT going to be the biggest of them. While it might be an area in which you're losing points, it won't account for the bulk of them. Is there anything else that you consider a 'problem area' in the Quant section. How do you do on DS, for example?
