I need serious help !!! Need 550+ on GMAT . I gave my gmat yesterday and scored 450 .Initially when I used to give mock I used to get 550+ and yesterday all went wrong . I was stuck in few questions and didn't realize about the time and at the end went up guessing questions again and again .However,I am retaking my Gmat in 15 days can somebody suggest me some useful ways to score of 550+
I have heard that in re attempt maximum you can score is +/-30.. Is that true ? Till what extent ???? (i.e In next mock I will get 480 only at maximum)
Targeted score 600+ ...but considering time (550+ at least)...Time left 12 days
Also it would be very fruitful If some one can help to how to manage time to have at least score of (550+) i.e... which questions ,order of questions to do most and which questions we can guess....
Thanks!!!

If you are targeting 600 you should start analyzing the questions and attempt only those you feel comfortable of solving. If you are not having much time to practice I thing you should give a mock in this manner. Analyze the question and if you feel you can definitely solve it then only attempt the question otherwise guess the answer and move on to the next question. In this way you will at least have the time to solve all the questions of 600 level and save time in the 700 level questions and complete the whole quant set.

Hi Sorry to hear that your Gmat didn't go well. You can refer to the above post that includes timing strategies and tips to increase score. I would suggest to appear for Gmatprep test first and then take a call on whether you are ready for the Gmat right now. A score of 450 means you need to brush up all the basics of Quant and Verbal, which is difficult to do in such a short span of time. Take the Gmatprep test and decide on whether to postpone the Gmat based on your score. You can postpone the test before 7 days from the test date.
