hello all I have made some notes on quant topic that might be helpful, specially someone who struggling with Quant.
1..For any given set if we add or subtract a constant to each term in set the STANDARD DEVIATION will not change.
2..Arithmatic mean is always >= Geometric mean. AM(m,n)=GM(m,n) when m=n
3.. 0 is an integer.
4.. For any number , square of number >= that number but for 0<x<1 square of number<that number
5..for given cube,having side of a diagonal length = (cube root 3) *a
6. For question , a soccer coach riding his bike reaches his office in X hr,if he travels at 24 km/hr , he reaches his office 5 min late. if he travels 30 km/hr he reaches his office 4 min early. how far his office from his home.
there is direct formula for such question,
Distance = (diff in time* product of speed)/diff in speed
make sure units are consistent. plugging value from question we will get 18 km.
7. if equation |x|+|y|=4 encloses certain region on the graph, what is the area of that region? area of region =2 (a^2) here a=4
8. Probability of an even A occurring P(a):0.4 probability of event A AND B occurring together will be P(A AND B)<= 0.4
BECAUSE P(B)MAX IS 1 SO P(A AND B)= 0.4 REST OF SITUATION P(A AND B)<= 0.4
9. Isosceles triangle have two sides equal and for right angle isosceles triangle have two sides equal and 1 side is hypotenuse.(45 45 90 triangle)
10. For any given set consisting of POSITIVE and NEGATIVE DISTINCT number following will hold true. Range of set > Largest number in set > Mean of set
I hope this notes might be helpful. Kindly give kudos if you like this post.

There are certain problems, you may review your notes For example..
1.For any given set of distinct no Range > Largest no in set > Mean of set......NO Set of 2,3,4..Range=2, largest number =4, and mean = 3
2. there is direct formula for such question,
Distance = (diff in speed * product of speed)/diff in speed...If you cancel out (diff in speed) from numerator and denominator, you are left with Distance = product of speed.. Some typo

Sir noted. 1.Typo corrected for formula.
2. Range of set> largest number of set> mean of set When set consists of POSITIVE AND NEGATIVE DISTINCT NUMBERS.
Thank you ?
