Quant Stratergy (Q44 Diagnostic) For Engineering Background

Question

I am starting to prepare for quant section of GMAT, I tried to give a diagnostic test and found out my Quant score was 43 I was shocked to see it was so low given the fact I am an Indian Engineer excellent in Advanced Math; I thought since i finished the quant 13min. earlier I must've missed tricky parts and made alot of mistakes I gave another test with full seriousness and finished with 3minutes left on clock (e-gmat sigma mock test) I scored a Q44 when I observed the majority of my mistakes 6 wrong in DS and 4 in PS in first diagnostic test and 6DS And 3 PS on second mock I realized I was falling within traps of DS I tried to make myself comfortable with it by reading articles on DS trap in GMATClub forum after that i tried OG 2020 but which happened to be way to easy. Given above I believe I have decent concept how do I proceed with my quant preparation or should i leave my quant as it is and proceed to verbal given that I still have to learn about RC and leave Quant for last

Well  Deeptanshu02 , being from an Indian Engineering background surely gives you an upper hand in quants, but I won't suggest you to leave practicing quant just because you are good at it.
Since you mentioned you are scoring less in Data Sufficiency, you have to level your quant score in DS as well. 
You can surely give your extra efforts towards verbal section just don't leave quant for last. 
1 hour a day is enough to go through quant questions and then you can practice verbal as much as you want. Good luck.

1 hour was just an example, if you are already done with OG you can go for TTP Quant. They are too good with there study material, it will definitely help you to push your score towards Q50-51. Plus you can be consistent here on GMAT. We have Maths and Verbal Experts with us, who are forever ready to help us out. Just follow them, GC will send you notifications whenever they post any question or explanation. Also you can practice from GC practice section. It's a treasure box in literal terms. Good luck.
