0.12Y = 9 (reminder)
--> Y = 9*100/12
--> Y = 75
As x/y = 96.12
0.12Y = 9 (reminder)

I followed the same way...
x = ay + 9 ...I
x/y = 96 + 0.12....II
=> x = 96y + 0.12y = ay + 9 ..... [from I]
And took me couple of min to figure randomly.
