Total parts of the work to be completed = 7
Time taken by Billy to complete 3 parts of the work = 9 hrs
Time taken by Billy to complete 1 part of the work = 3 hrs
Time taken by Billy to complete the remaining 4 parts of the work = 4 * 3 hrs = 12 hrs.
Answer is D. 12 hours
