If x + y > 5 and x – y > 3, then which of the following gives all possible values of x and only possible values of x?

(A) x > 3
(B) x > 4
(C) x > 5
(D) x < 5
(E) x < 3
adding the two given equations we get,
x+y+x-y> 8 (both LHS have greater than signs they can be added at one side)

IMO Option B
x + y > 5) + (x – y > 3)

Or, 2x > 8

Or, x > 4
Please give me kudos. I need them badly to unlock gmatclub tests.
