Given:
- • Fred is running along a circular track sweeping an angle of 54 degrees every minute
To find:
- • The number of laps he makes in 24 minutes
Approach and Working Out:
- • He can cover 540 degrees = 360 + 180, that is 1.5 laps in \(\frac{540}{54} = 10\) minutes
• In 24 minutes, he can cover \(\frac{24 * 1.5}{10} = 3.6\) laps
Hence, the correct answer is Option A.
