let the old students in the old studio be "x" , the capacity of the old studio be "y", and new students be "n"
At the old location, it was filled to capacity, so: \(x = y\).
At the new location, the capacity became \(\frac{145}{100}y\)
At the new location, the old students became \(\frac{80}{100}x\)
At the new location , it is also filled to capacity, so: \(\frac{80}{100}x + n = \frac{145}{100}y\)
as \(x = y\), \(n = \frac{145}{100}y-\frac{80}{100}y = \frac{65}{100}y\)
fraction of new students in the new location = \(\frac{n}{\frac{145}{100}*y}\) = \(\frac{\frac{65}{100}*y}{\frac{145}{100}*y}\) = \(\frac{65}{145}\) = \(\frac{13}{29}\)
so, D

Use a 'smart number'.
There were 100 people at the old studio. Numbers have increased to 145 at the new studio.
100·20%=20. So 100-20=80 students from the old studio came across.
\(\frac{(145-80)}{145} = \frac{65}{145} = \frac{13}{29}\)
