One clarification here.

The question does not mention that the new rate (6x1.5) is for each hour worked extra. One might assume that if one works for n hours, where n>8, the new rate will apply i.e 10 Hours x 6(1.5)= 90 Dollars.
­Yes, Even I agree on this, Bunuel can you calrrify, are we missing something here?

I did exactly this! Poor phrasing if they wanted to convey that it is for each extra hour. Should we look out for poorly phrased questions on the GMAT? Bunuel
