3 rows - n+(n+1)+(n+2)
Let x be the no of holes in the bottom row

n+(n+1)+(n+2)+x=26
3n+3+x=26
3n+x=23

23 -3(5 -no of holes)=23-15=8
23 -3(6 -no of holes)=23-18=5

Hence 5
