Asked: What percent greater than z is w ?

x = 1.2y
y = 1.2z
w = .8x

w = .8x = .8 * 1.2 * 1.2z
w = 1.152z

w is 15.2% greater than z.

Please correct me where I am going wrong


x=5/4 Y & Y=5/4 Z
w=4/5X ==> x=5/4(w)
hence Z= 4/5(Y) ==> Z==>4/5(4/5(X))
Z==> 4/5(4/5(5/4(w)))
Z=4/5(w)
==> w=5/4(Z) ==> 1.2(z)
hence w is 20% more of Z
