Hi stilstyle,
Worry less about the V23 and focus on the 13 questions you got wrong. That's the only part you can control. Thinking about anything else is just a waste of mental energy. Focus on mistakes and make sure you don't repeat them next time. Eventually, there are only so many kinds of mistakes you can make -- and you should be able to narrow that gap.
Getting a 23 in verbal with 13 questions wrong is very very unusual. You should have been in the mid 30s ideally. I have heard of such weird scores on the GMATprep tests from some other people as well. Were these the two paid tests by any chance?
You may also find some value in taking additional practice tests --ideally after you've reviewed all your previous mistakes, of course. Here is one we provide free of charge: https://www.gmatpill.com/gmat-practice-t ... ctice-test

Hi, I gave this free gmat pill mock test today and got 630 (q 43 v 33) - even though i got 10 questions wrong in math and 14 in verbal. I got 680 in mgmat and veritas with a similar number of incorrect questions. Can you please explain me what is the scoring like?
